Starting to get a bit strange really. I don't recall any mention of him in the pressers but three games in, and he hasn't even featured on the bench. I was hopeful he would be involved today given Nunez played from the start against Leicester. I guess Palacios comes on after an hour for him today. |  |

Not concerned, this will be a real test for our new first team lineup. If they can handle ManU at all well, stands them in good stead for many other matches. Also helps with everybody getting used to each other's game.
Putting out 3 CBs would mean sacrificing not only much of our attacking threat, but also a layer of high press defence. We'd be inviting pressure closer to our own goal. As England found at the WC, that is likely to only end one way. | |

I’m a fan of not changing the side after winning, however it’s glaringly obvious that our right side is extremely weak for this level and our bench is way below what we’re going to need to stay up, in my humble opinion. |  |

I remember him having a niggle before or after one of the friendlies, then GON said that only Mats and Taylor were unavailable for Sunderland. No mention of Luis at all, and nothing since. | |

I’m not convinced by our defence at all. Don’t like O Shea at right back. Not convinced on Greaves or Davis to be honest. I was hoping for a new right back and a new LCB and a new Left back. All the good work in the transfer market could be undone by having what I see as a weak back line. |  | | |
