| Today’s Ref on 20:17 - Oct 10 with 1230 views | DarkBrandon | I thought it was about as easy a game as you’ll get to referee. There wasn’t a single bad challenge in the game. Was his booking of Davis harsh? I didn’t get a clear view. But other than that I certainly can’t criticise | | | |
| Today’s Ref on 20:18 - Oct 10 with 1199 views | SitfcB | I thought he was terrible at times tbh. Lost control and didn’t seem to want to give decisions. Not seen it back but if he gave that penalty I doubt it gets overturned. | |

Yeah, I’d love to see that penalty shout again. Forgot about that
| Today’s Ref on 20:20 - Oct 10 with 1167 views | farkenhell | Apart from not giving many Fulham fouls in the first half and denying us a stonewall penalty in the second, yes Mr Simith had a good game. | | | |

| Today’s Ref on 20:21 - Oct 10 with 1155 views | NthQldITFC | The penalty on Daizen was a pen in my opinion. The defender (unintentionally, admittedly) scraped his studs down the outside of Daizen's lower leg, which was angled out a bit and a component of the force would have been pushing his leg in and down, causing Daizen to fall away from it in self-protection. Hard to see for the ref possibly, but I do think VAR should have quickly understood the above and called the whistleman to the screen. | |

I thought he was pretty poor tbh, as you say seemed really reluctant to make decisions. On a refereeing note, today was a game where I thought an orange card/sinbin would be warranted. 3 or 4 times Fulham committed unbelievably cynical fouls to stop play on halfway, with a really promising opening for us stopped on each occasion. He was toot when it mattered. Deflections that should have been corners, free kicks that were clear etc he just dithered on time and again. After Fatawu it’s so clear how often players don’t get booked for diving too this season.

+1 for "whistleman"- positively Hamian.
| Today’s Ref on 20:32 - Oct 10 with 1052 views | Scuzzer | Hmmmm....first twenty minutes he was prepared to let it be a good competitive game. Then after that for some reason after Leif's ridiculous booking he seemed to crack down on us while letting Fulham players to dive around and free kicks. Continued to be a bit pernickerty second half and then...how on earth didn't we get a penalty? Why didn't he book Maeda if it was a dive? But he did end up being good in making decisions . | |

The Outarra was really egregious, zero attempt to play the ball, just threw him over.

Thought he got the Davis one right from where I was. Looked overzealous from Leif, a touch out of control, and from the side / back. Certainly a foul, never a red, think a yellow was exactly the right call. Thought Maeda was caught in real time, not seen it back though.

No it was correct, went through the player first before he got the ball. Should most definitely have been a penalty on Maeda though, fouled first outside the box and then again inside it. Aside from that I thought he did well and tried to keep the game flowing as much as possible. In truth not too difficult as both sides wanted to play and not resort to the " dark arts ". The law changes appear to be having a welcome effect on the games, so far.

As with most of these depends what team you support. No way as clear cut as some are saying. I thought he had a good game.
