I have high hopes we are going to win all the game after Manchester City, does anyone else think we are capable of this? This is our best chance of staying up and if we win these 6 (or lose none of these) we will be fine.

Sun 08 Nov 14:00 AFC Bournemouth H

Knowing our luck we will get something out of next weekends game only to have the point(s) deducted when Citeh expelled from Premier League.

I am confident we can give all these teams a proper game (inc. City), fancy us to get 5 or 6 wins from the below games. Why the hell not, we are long overdue.

Seems unlikely they’ll keep being so profligate. Reckon they’ll tonk someone soon.

I’ve seen nothing to suggest we’ll be so dominant (would probably see us in the top three too). It would need us to keep coming out on the right side of the fine margins that saw us beat Palace and Fulham. Which is incredibly unlikely.

I admire the ridiculous optimism though :)

The three games following City is a great opportunity to be honest. If we could get 9 from that, and it would be possible, it would be huge you'd imagine. That said, there are no easy games etc etc.

If we're around 10-12 points i'd happy, I think.

7 or 8 points from that run of six games would be a really good return and would consolidate our very decent start.

As has been pointed out above our 3 wins have been in very tight games that could have just as easily ended up in draws or defeats.

The difference from last time is that our bench is certainly helping us finish games well which didn’t happen before.

I’d be delighted for our win one lose one run to keep going as we’d be almost safe by the New Year

Attempt at predictions

Forest H - Draw (looks like a potential win but they are good away from home)
Hull A - Win (feel we have their number after last season)
Bournemouth H - Win (in reality could be any result)
Spurs A - Loss (they're starting to pick up and realistically have a far superior team)
Villa H - Draw (as above with Spurs. Arrogant to expect us to beat them, a Draw would be reasonable)
Coventry A - Win (got to be ruthless and take all 3 here)

That's 11 points which would leave us on 20 after 13 played which you'd think would set us up for survival. Admittedly on the optimistic side but its hardly outrageous with how we've started the season.

How Forest managed to lose that game yesterday is beyond me.

They missed about 5 clear cut chances

Yes, they shouldn't have lost really and Glasner is one of the top managers in the league so it won't be easy at all.

Man City 11 - Ipswich 10

Last minute winner through a penalty with refs onfield decision overturned and given by VAR, although replays clearly show contact outside the box

The difference this time is we can score when we go behind, which I sense is harder than you think in the PL. Plus, these teams coming up are not as good as last time we played them, I'm confident.

I am also delighted to see a down vote for the suggestion we will win games and we successful this season, classic.

I wouldn't say Spurs have picked up very much. Scraping a 1-1 draw with ManU (same as Fulham managed before playing us) along with losing to Villa and a couple of nil-nils is hardly gaining much momentum. They've only scored 3 Prem goals this season (2 of those in a losing cause).

Not saying, away from home, we're definitely going to win it, but we stand a decent chance of getting something from the game.

Good Lord! Whatever is it?

No way, those will largely be knife-edge games and we'd be doing exceptionally well to win half of them. Two wins and two draws would keep us well on track and feels a more realistic target.

I hope you’re right but even if we only win two or three of those games I’ll be happy that we keep picking up points and that bit closer to securing that minimum 17th place finish.

We are currently doing a very good job of beating the teams that we "could beat"

With that in mind, we aren't winning 6/6 - not even the bluest of blues is thinking that.

however there are atleast 3 on there you like to think we take vital points from.

8/9 points without losing to Hull/Coventry would be a very good return in my opinion

Can beat Hull and Cov away, and should be doing so to keep distance from them
Can see us beating Forest - draw against Villa home but less sure of Spurs and Bournemouth but we'll see

Not sure why the positivity has so many down arrows.

That said, if we won 6 straight games, we would be in the champions league spots at that stage. We’re only a point off then nor having got 9 points from 6 games. Being on 27 points after 13 games would be ridiculous! We’d have people suggesting we could do a Leicester. Not happening but I love the positivity.

BELIEVE!

Start of the season I was very unsure, but, we seem to be able to get back into games and not roll over.

Plus, we have some smashing players in the squad now, in theory they will only get better.

Good to now see 3 down votes by Ipswich Town supporters who clearly do not believe we can win football matches, dread to think what you were like when we were getting beat in league one, probably supporting Arsenal.
