So hot and cold.. most frustrating player I’ve ever watched.

Very young, but he consistently contributes towards goals or goal situations and there’s some magic in those feet.

He’s brilliant until he needs to deliver a final ball..

Yeah was going to say, young wingers will be inconsistent. The end.

Has had goal involvements now away at city and united - no mean feat for a youngster.

I was having palpitations when he seemed to be holding the ball to take the penalty.

If he always blew hot he would likely not be our player.

I love how quick and direct he is, he’s got so much of what you can’t teach. Needs to work on his decision making & final ball at times, reminds me a bit of Omari when he joined although not as raw.

I think it was Pat Nevin talking I heard, saying the Prem is awash with wingers who won’t take a risk to retain the ball and look tidy but do not create a lot. He was saying that a winger who loses the ball 99% of the time trying to create something taking risks, but makes a goal with that 1% dribble, is a lot more valuable, as there is a meaningful product.

He's fantastic when he's playing on instinct. When he has time to stop and think about what he's going to do, he generally falls to pieces.

Think its great when he tries to cross to back post, but when he tries to get middle of the box he fluffs it everytime.

Yeah generally agree with that. Although he nailed that one at Old Trafford.

I would say those percentages don't work but the sentiment is right. Attacking players need to take some risks and defensive ones shouldn't be generally. This is, of course, caveated with when they are doing those things!

It'll come with time the accuracy won't it. Lovely player to have on our hands. Will be nice in Jan if we can get proper cover for him

There’s a lot to like about him. Lots of skill and pace. Yes, he can be a bit raw and make mistakes. But he is also learning to play in the Premier. One thing I like about him is he keeps going. Against Liverpool, he was the root cause of Liverpool’s goals losing the ball in bad areas. But he kept at it and got better and better.

He’s a terrific prospect. The quality of our players is a different level to two years ago throughout the team and the squad in my view.
