Didnāt happen just once either.

| That late free kick... on 17:11 - Oct 17 with 1404 views | Joey_Joe_Joe_Junior | Yes he flagged someone 20 yards away from the ball. However, we did have chances to put in a better ball a couple times and either overhit it or panicked a bit. | |

No, he was falling already when the ball came across. O'Shea was definitely onside though.

| That late free kick... on 17:22 - Oct 17 with 1104 views | Smoresy | Diop ruled to be interfering with play? Rear two defenders were sandwiching him, with O'Shea in free space a metre behind. Or just given because Diop was blocking the view of everything behind him. š
O'Shea was well onside so would be odd for them to have seen otherwise.

I am not saying it was a definite freekick to us, but as far as I saw Halland had his arm on his shoulder while Outtara last the balance. I thought that VAR maybe would make it more obvious . well hoping at least.

| That late free kick... on 17:22 - Oct 17 with 1105 views | Facefacts | Ref bias thread #654. We never get anything when against the big teams, especially away. VAR tried to help us today, unlike City away 2024. Poor poor referees. Usually the rookie ref and linos. Then you get Dermot supporting them on Sky Ref Watch. Fact of life, but we could have got something today. | | | |

Nah not for me. Haaland did a perfect job of putting pressure on him and using his strength without doing enough to give a foul away, and Ouattara had slightly misjudged and run past the ball after Haalandās first touch so was already slipping as he tried to adjust back the other way. The kind of moment heāll learn a lot from, Iām sure. Easy to forget just how young he is with these performances heās been putting in the last few games!

R5l calling out Outts for his wide miss & 1 other mistake had me yelling at radio about his age; and also thinking that it's the first time I've heard his name connected with making a mistake!

Agree with this, he's got Haaland bearing down on him and there's a hell of a height and you'd imagine strength disparity there. A shame, but Haaland is just annoyingly good.

Difficult that one, on first viewing, yes you are right, but in all honestly Ouattara just got out muscled.

Decision making and executing in attacking areas is a massive differentiator between a good and a very good professional footballer.

We had about 4 or 5 clear looks at the their penalty areas and didnāt cause them enough problems in the last few minutes. The back post ball was on all day as well.
