Ticket Discount For Unity Cup
Wednesday, 13th May 2026 11:13

London-based fans can get 10 per cent off tickets for the Unity Cup tournament which is being staged at the Valley, Charlton later this month with Blues U21s defender Corbin Mthuzni in the Zimbabwe squad.

Town supporter and TWTD reader Harry Panter is part of the organising committee for the competition which involves Jamaica, India and Nigerian in addition to the Zimbabweans.

“As an Ipswich fan involved in the Unity Cup, seeing one of our own, Corbin Mthuzni, representing Zimbabwe makes the tournament even more exciting,” he said.

“It’s a proud moment to watch an Ipswich player on the international stage and I’ll be backing him all the way.”

Zimbabwe play Nigeria in the first of two semi-finals on Tuesday 26th May, then will face either India or Jamaica - who meet on the Wednesday - in the final or third/fourth play-off on the Saturday depending on the results of the first two games.

Tickets are available here with the code India410 giving a 10 per cent discount.

Would have loved to have gone to the Zimbabwe v Nigeria game being a town fan and my wife being Zimbabwean. However after seeing that the tickets are around £50 each it has put us off as that’s an expensive day out when we have to come from East Anglia. Almost double the price of an Ipswich ticket, ridiculous really seeing as I doubt the stadium will be close to being full.

Hi, Thanks for your feedback regarding pricing. I tend to agree with you that pricing is high for all international matches but it isn’t just a football match it’s a cultural event as well with a fan village , food stalls from the competing nations. Each country has a flag bearer who will bring vibes to the day. On 30th May finals day . You have 3rds 4th place play off, Champions League final and The Unity Cup final. Sadly everything is expensive and trying to put on a tournament with 4 international teams in London doesn’t come cheap. Travel costs around the UK are mad and prohibitively expensive. Up the Zim warriors.

I think we need a UK Unity Cup but not for football reasons.
