Middlesbrough certainly looked tougher opposition in the two games with Town and their fans may feel they missed their chance to go up with the Championship looking very, very strong next season given the teams which have come down. As is often the case, it's the clubs with the deepest squads that go up, not necessarily the best teams.

Hats off to Millwall for pushing Town so close for automatic promotion given the difference in wage bill.
