Well worth waiting patiently until the end. Fulham cracked in the lst five minutes. Best wishes to Dara and his new daughter. He certainly knows how to celebrate? Fulham bench didnt introduce any urgency which became missing and the tide turned in our favour. Walton hung on to nearly everything coming his way. Our bench introduced an element that was missing. Sometimes we need to shoot on sight without pride or prejudice! another fine display by Emersonn, doesnt shirk and puts his shift in.

Match turned on it's head when Palacios came on got control of midfield demanded the ball even in tight situations looked confident and showed what he is an Argentinian international. Luis on the other hand was very disappointing strolled through the match with little effect. Been saying for weeks now what a great prospect Ouattara is at only twenty think maybe his best position might be in midfield though. My mom although not on the pitch long was Palacios class act reminiscent of the great Frans Thyssen at times twisting and turning.

Great by everyone (less so Jaden on the day) but not for the first time Christian Walton was outstanding. That save on 93 was every bit as important as both our goals.

GON definitely didn't start the strongest XI. Philogene, Enciso, Maeda, and Emersonn created a few chances but failed to link up consistently. Florentino also struggled on the ball, and couldn't find the incisive pass for most of the afternoon. Fulham deserved their lead, and were wasteful not to have scored more.

The last 20 minutes saw more of the 4-2-4 formation that closed out the Everton match. Once the two strikers were on, Town pressed relentlessly and had most of the ball. Palacios and Lukic dominated in midfield, cementing themselves as Town's starting CM pairing. Ouattara's wonderstrike was the cherry on top of an outstanding performance at RB, and O'Shea rode the wave of momentum to fire home a header on a well-worked free kick.

Palacios has the amazing gift of getting the players around him to play their very best.

I thought Maeda and Enciso couldn't be faulted for their work rate....incredible energy, harassing Fulham continuously.
Emerson is strong and was equally tenacious in tracking back as he was battling in his main role of central striker (had he been on target with that header onto the post, if only).
Lukic and Palacios were absolute class. Luis ok, Walton excellent again and Ouattara superb, so busy up and down that right hand side.
Egeli did well when he came on as well.
Fortunately Fulham didn't manage to take all of their opportunities and half chances, whilst we did...phew.
Cracking atmosphere in Block A, as always. The rest of the ground, Sir Alf and the Co-op in particular, need to add some life and soul to the occasions.
