People can discuss what they like, I just find it funny (especially when people announce they are underwhelmed etc.) that they can't wait for a reputable source (i.e. Phil) before getting their knickers in a twist, watching videos, looking up stats, asking mates abroad etc. What a colossal waste of time - but fill your boots if that's your thing. | |

Hard to see how this gets done, we obviously don't want to overpay but Blackburn seem more stubborn than anything and clearly don't give a crap if they have a pissed off player with not much of a pre-season under his belt.

I don't know, but I doubt they realistically want that much. They had indicated the £8m rising to £10m would be enough, so I presume a bit more than that now they've turned that down. The reported £500,000 extra on initial fee might well be right. |  | | |
