Absolutely nothing all day , as I said before nobody cares and only a few seem to cry about it on here.

After you and a few others bleating all week about people needing to get behind the team, they've done exactly that and yet you seem to infer this is some kind of sign that 'nobody cares'.

The mental gymnastics some people go through are extraordinary.

If it was the one I saw it was about Sky and TNT and nothing to due with recent events.

You say that but it's a big middle finger to Ashton following his rant at Blue Action and 'his' football club.

Most people expressed the view that a)they hoped it would be all behind the team and b) they expected it would be all behind the team.

Weird that some predictable people are still trying to score their internet points over this.

Great set of results today so far. Come on the Swans.

I did wonder how Ashton would feel about that banner.

It seems a lot of fans are happy with it being Ashton's club as long it is successful, though.

Probably the only good thing about the whole fiasco was it happening during an international break. Had we had a ga.e within 5 days of VeryRealConcernsgate it might have been a different vibe in the stands.

Does 'On the charge with Nigel Farage" count?
About 20 people singing this in NSL half way through 2nd half.
Not quite the nothing others are reporting, but just a small group all the same.
I can't remember the chants from when I was a kid but since I started going again in the mid 90s I can't recall one single political chant.
It was a shame to hear one today, albeit from a very small group.
Other than that, I think we all knew we had to be united behind the team today and by and large, we were

"I don't want to be like everyone else. That's why I'm a mod, see?"

I did think that was an option.

But I've spent the last few days saying that with each passing day I think less and less people care. Grow Your Own then linked the same set of polls and told me over two thirds of the fan base wanted Ashton out. Also been hearing endlessly about protests and Ashton out chants. I was also trying to encourage Rommers to attend as I have thought the predictions from many were way OTT.

It was never going to kick off. Our fans are placid at the best of times, I can’t imagine those that passionately and strongly oppose Farage’s visit were ever going along to PR for a tear up.

I proudly wore my anti racism t shirt as opposed to my town top today. Had a big debate with my youngest son about whether I should. In the end he said, I can see this means a lot to you, you should wear it. Will it make any difference? Not in the grand scheme of things, but I feel better about myself that I made a tiny, tiny stand, and didn’t just wilt.

Course not. It’s almost like TWTD is not at all representative of the fanbase and is full of people who over dramatise everything for ‘uppies’ from like minded folk and battle to be more virtuous than one another. It was an incredibly stupid thing to do from the club, but most move on, as was proven today.

My favourite was the fella who felt the need to announce he wasn’t going to the game as some sort of protest. If you don’t want to go because of your principles then I respect that, I really do, but feeling the need to announce it on an online forum….. man alive.

So we can count that banner as one in favour of a football regulator ? Hope so. Also saw a blue and white flag with a wide black stripe across it in the Blue Action section - is that a black and white unite flag ?

I'm just going to add to this.

I don't give a toss if it's not in the press, or no one else shares my view. It's not a popularity contest.

I don't like being lied to and gaslit, end of. I don't like being told "it's only 1 mistake", when there has been no acceptance of ownership of said mistake.

To be able to forgive there has to be some acceptance of fault. That acceptance has not been forthcoming.

For me, integrity matters. If it doesn't matter for anyone else, that's sad, but I'll live with it. It will still matter to me.

I'm sorry that people who don't have an issue with it are so butthurt by those of us who do, but, suck it up. I'm not sitting here telling you how boring you are, or how you should think.

Oh, and I still want us to smash every team we play, and back the boys to promotion. I'm sorry if that is too hard for your tiny little brains to comprehend.

Anyhow. Night all.

Well said. You are right, it is those who are telling us to let it go who are going to have to suck it up.

And it wasn't just one mistake either. It was multiple massive misjudgements rolled into one incident. I am sure I could have let it go had he not lied about it and then issued the non-apology.

Apart from those who have taken a stand ( and of course it's every individuals right to do what they wish ), I think this is going to play out as a storm in a tea cup, A very unfortunate one, but one non the less.
