I mean evidence in the sense of Trump's previous. Its classic madman theory, he's creating a perception of an unhinged leader willing to stop at nothing. In Trump's case there's no doubt a large element of his personality in his ramblings, but make no mistake they're also by design. See Nixon during the Vietnam War.
People feared the use of nukes in the North Korea tensions, Trump's rhetoric was often similar. I think the consequences of escalating to nuclear war are far, far too high even for Trump. It would almost certainly see his removal from the White House too, which his ego wouldn't handle. | | | |
