Seen a few mention his "error" for coming flying out for the fifth goal.
If he doesn't come out the striker is through one on one so he has to make a split decision on what makes it most difficult for the striker.
Ultimately his decision very nearly paid off, forced the striker into an early shot which hits the bar, had Greaves not hesitated he could have cleared it before the bounce.
Personally thought Scherpen had a decent game looks pretty decent with his feet solid at getting something on crosses and made a couple of decent saves. |  |

Would need to see another replay but I think that is harsh on Greaves. The ball hit the bar at exactly the right angle to go over the line. If it had bounced straight down he would have cleared it. I think it was natural to take a split second longer there to make sure you don't bundle it in when you have no idea in real time that it's bouncing at that angle. |  | | |

I thought it he could possibly have come flying out when Greaves fouled Cunha for the penalty, and I think that was in his mind when Mbuemo went through. |  |

Greaves did not hesitate - he adjusted his step to be able to kick the ball. Putting that goal on Scherpen is wrong, but it's even heavier lifting putting it on Greaves. [Post edited 31 Aug 14:51]

Thought keeper had a great game. Commanded area. Would have been nearer ten without his saves. Not much he could have done for any of the goals. Man u got lucky as always. | | | |

Decent enough. Thought he could have done better on the first goal but was clearly expecting a shot across him rather than at near post. Intrigued to see his position for penalty and being off centre |  |

The ball actually bounced off the bar and back out but the spin of it made it go into the direction of the goal and it was over the line before Greaves touched it. Quite unlucky really. |  |

He also got touches on the crosses when Rashford missed sliding in at the far post and when Mbeumo hit the bar cdm a yard out. I’m sure sure that contributed to both not going in, on top of several more superb saves. Thought he was good generally, although I do wish he’d catch a few more crosses rather than punching them. | | | |

What abot the one he punched when it was easier to catch? If he wasn't going to catch that one, then I worry.
Also his distribution needs some work. He has an enormous throw but that and his kicking is somewhat inaccurate. |  | | |
