This is a superior biscuit, all the taste of a standard chocolate digestive, but with a thin smear of caramel. Not too much to make it over sweet, but definitely feels a bit indulgent.
If there is a better dunker in the biscuit world I'm yet to find it. The caramel gives it a structural strength that other dunking faves, such as the humble hobnob, can only dream of.

Well, maybe I have something to add to this topic as it’s my specialist subject.

Questions were asked if other nations could compete in the Biscuit World Challenge
Americans? Eh No, they’re more of a cookie nation.
Italy produce a superior Ameretti, no wonder their football is so good.
Don’t get me started on Australian rules; an abomination, the Me2 of biscuitdom.
I’m nipping over next month and will pop a packet of Timtams for old times sake.
However do admit to enjoying some seaweed flavoured rice crackers, but again with so many biscuit police on this board, do I want to start another controversy.
From Sri Lanka a rather fine lemon cracker with the unobtrusive name of ‘Lemon’ a worthy mouthful but sadly rarely passes the dunking test, as the creamy layer is sandwiched between brittle crackers. They also manufacture a decent ginger.
They are not so innovative with naming and have named them: ‘Ginger’
Some people complain that Indian biscuits aren’t really worth it, but here we have Jimjams which are a jammy dodger clone that Mrs S starts her day with. There are also a few variants of Hobnobs.
My current fav would be the hazelnut and dark choc chip. Initially had my doubts but the flavour works and they can be safely dunked without much loss of turgor, as having a biscuit malfunction after a good dunking is an immediate red card with at least a month’s suspension.
I particularly enjoy the Sunfeast oats choc chip and almond but despite an adorable flavour they cannot be safely dunked without occasionally malfunctioning. Not a famous company but this one is a winner, so much so that Britannia biscuit company seem to have bought the patent from them and name there brand nutri-choice. Whenever I’m close to the factory and their aroma is filling the air I admit to some humble genuflexions to salute their skilled artistry.
I believe some on here may have made unfair comments on Biscoff; but here is a worthy entrant into the crowded field.
