I don't recall that.
I mentioned yesterday that the coverage from the EADT (KoA) has been much more speculative.
For example, '10 midfield players that could interest Town' and that type of stuff, but I suppose that is what comes from needing to justify the paywall, whilst at the same time, the club becoming much more careful about what they say.
But I don't recall anyone saying that, unless it was later in the post, or another that I didn't see. |  |

No, my memory isn't struggling. I didn't even suggest that Watson was disconnected from the club, never mind 'say it'.
I said their content seemed more speculative, (which it is), and that the club might have changed their relationship with the media, which is not unreasonable, given the general drop off in real information coming out from the club.

Thing is, now we're in the PL, the club's relationship with the local media will change a bit, as there are many more media outlets fighting for a finite number of exclusives, so they won't all be broken by local journos like Watson, even if they had been previously in the Championship or League 1. That's no slight on Watson, who's probably working harder than ever to cover as much ITFC news as he can! |  |
