Immature for sure, but the stuff about him being told his new job wasn’t the job he was natural at did my swede in. It sums up why we were going so wrong back then. And then if he put the work in to bulk up so he could take on the target man role, that’s a point in his favour. That’s not someone who wasn’t prepared to work for the team.
He obviously doesn’t like Ashton and he’s not alone. Without knowing what went on we’ll probably never know the truth of it. I’m more inclined to believe Norwood’s version, as Ashton has shown he’s prepared to lie to us. But who knows. | |

Given that Norwood is twice convicted of drink driving I'm surprised that people are so quick to believe him to be fair.

Just watched the podcast - well the Ipswich bits at least - and from what I’ve read on here I expected Norwood to come across as some sort of Neanderthal but I was pleasantly surprised.
He seemed quite a likeable fella who is capable of self-reflection and recognising past silly behaviour. If he had a tad more discipline and wasn’t so keen on supplying the bantz then he would probably have played more matches at a higher level.
He does come across as someone who plays the fool but I don’t think that dilutes the image of Ashton being quite egotistical, duplicitous and not thinking twice before pushing someone under a bus. |  | | |

Thats Lambert isnt it, "you remind me of Grant Holt" even though he played nothing like Grant Holt. He was ok for what we were then but professionalism wasnt ever in his locker was it |  |
