On those points: the punching doesn't bother me, they haven't been bad punches generally; and the penalty routine I kind of get, it was the side they usually go so it's a gamesmanship and ultimately with Fernandes' penalty rate he was likely to score, so it was a good idea imv, though failed. DIstribution, I don't think it's too bad really.
5 goes is a shame, but otherwise he made some important saves and still has to develop a relationship with the defenders. |  |

My concern was getting beaten at his near post for the first - albeit I think most think I'm being harsh - and then, with their fourth, coming off his line at the speed of a snail. Either stay back or rush out. I'm not convinced by him.

He was flapping around a lot even at the end; some of the crosses he could have caught and distribution with his hands is generally better than with his feet. Theres no conclusive verdict about him either way yet, it could go either way. | | | |

With the amount of rain that was teeming down at the end, I doubt he could see many of the crosses that you say he could have caught.
