There aren’t many things more pathetic than someone claiming they’re not allowed an opinion - immediately after posting several opinions. For what it’s worth, it took me all of five minutes to pull together some of your greatest hits, but if you’d like a longer compilation I’m more than happy to oblige.
As for your claim that most of your comments have been “right at the time”, I’d love to hear which ones you’re hanging your hat on. No chance of top two? Won't even reach 56 points? If you spend an entire season writing the team off and criticising at every turn, then you are in fact less of a supporter. There's actually another word for that sort of thing - detractor. You and your ilk are the detractor boys.
The most remarkable thing about all of this is that you have spent a considerable amount of time criticising anybody you deem to be a 'happy clapper', but on this issue you are shouting other people down for having an opinion and telling them to move on and blindly support the team, all without any sense of irony whatsoever. I really think he's had a very uncomfortable couple of weeks with the board. His celebrations for goals and full time (which for balance and fairness show he really cares) I think we're filled with relief as he is under pressure now big time and he knows it.
It's right he has credit in the bank as he has commercially and footballing wise done an excellent job. Some things blow that out of the water and he was close I reckon to losing his job. The credit unfortunately for him will have mostly gone. He can't make a decision like that again.
Promotion and some really good community work (again for balance you have to give him a lot of credit in that area) need to be spot on now. | |

Think we are 16th or 17th in Europe on a per capita basis and below the overall European average. That we are taking more than our fair share of asylum applications is one of the biggest myths going. It's the symbolism of people coming across the channel in small boats that gets certain people worked up, along with a general antipathy towards foreigners. |  |
