Never had Norwood down as an Ashton fan… 20:48 - Sep 1 with 10128 viewsMatt_Netherlands

Would be nice is he said how he really felt, and stopped sitting on the fence.

Have a feeling he may be getting a call from a solicitor or two after this podcast.

(Skip to 57 mins in…. Lasts about 10-15 mins).

Although an immense tool, him being moved on is nothing to do with his attitude or wanting "squakey clean" which is what he's hiding behind, he just wasn't good enough for a club of our stature and where we were attempting to get back to.

He was plenty good enough to play for a promotion chasing side in league one the season after he left, in the same league we were still in.

Even if Ashton didn’t want him out there is no chance McKenna would’ve kept him around.

A consummate professional like McKenna would’ve never put up with Norwood & his nonsense.
