| Broadbent23 added 15:34 - Jan 17 The win was on the cards and we got a standard win. This team hasn't played since Oxford, so our flow wasn't always perfect. MoM Cashin. Great shot gave the keeper no chance. Linkboy13 added 15:46 - Jan 17 The score didn't quite match the performance in which there was some untidy play . I was surprised to see Hirst recalled after his recent injury emphasising the urgent need of a quality striker. There was some very poor Refereeing Davis suffered a head injury and he allowed play to continue and Blackburn benefited by nearly scoring from the space left by Davis. A few minutes later Blackburn suffered a head injury and he immediately stopped play. Nunez was his usual industrious self but just edged out by Kipre for MOM . Buryblue78 added 15:48 - Jan 17 Strange game Cashin could have been sent off trice which would have capped off a great debut To be fair Furlong could as well! We coasted lacking intensity and the inevitable howler is coming from our insistence on suicidal play in our own area I just hope when it does happen that we are already 3-0 up Blackburn looked short of confidence in front of goal A good few minutes for Wes to get under his belt and an assist Confidence boosting goals and a clean sheet PhilsAngels added 18:11 - Jan 17 Motown added 18:51 - Jan 17 If only we could get an o.g. inside three minutes every time we play a team that might be tough to break down... Made it a pretty comfortable game from there. Thought Cajuste was superb when he came on - love the way he just glides forward and plays a perfectly weighted pass, to Azon for what should have been a pen, and to Burns for an excellent third goal. PhuketPete added 08:34 - Jan 18 I just don’t understand the GH knockers. He works his socks off. Creates spaces, makes intelligent runs, feeds his colleagues. He is far better and more effective for the team than the consistent bottom mark he gets on this site Cervantes added 15:06 - Jan 18 We were a bit lucky to go in at half time 2-0 up. Our intensity and quality was much better in the second half. When Cajuste is on it, he's a Rolls Royce player. So much quality. The referee had a stinker. He missed two clear penalties, one for either side, and his inconsistency regarding head injuries was baffling. Blackburn pressed well, at times, Walton had my heart in my mouth a couple of times. I know our philosophy is to retain possession, but sometimes you just have to clear your lines. There were a couple of dodgy passes in to Matusiwa. NewForester added 13:07 - Jan 19 Time to put Palmer back as first choice, perhaps. West Brom were certainly never the same after they'd sold him.
