| Broadbent23 added 22:15 - Dec 10 Great start to the match and a Philly special. The next 43 minutes was not our best when chances were missed. Credit to the team for holding firm. We upped the tempo in the second half and failed to press our advantage. In the last 15 minutes the tension grew and grew, because it felt we might concede. We made it to the final whistle. Three points achieved. Well done Town for seeing out the game. cornishnick added 22:43 - Dec 10 rickw added 00:06 - Dec 11 I thought Philogene and Davis were superb together down that left side, not just going forwards but they both made many interceptions and tackles too, Matusiwa also deserves a mention but it's become expected of him now! StevoWalrus added 10:12 - Dec 11 Good overall performance. Much better in the 2nd half. Another absolute worldie from Philogene! My daughter started singing his name to Michael Jackson's Billy Jean and it's now stuck in my head! Robert_Garrett added 11:34 - Dec 11 Good thing to have a strong bench to see the result out to the end. Let Stoke have lots of ball so they cannot create a high potential opening. Walton excellent again. jadon frightens them to death every time he advances towards the opponents penalty area. I am sure that I saw Jack Clarke on the pitch? Linkboy13 added 15:04 - Dec 11 As McKenna stated improvements still needed we've got some good individuals but our team play has to get better. Our defending is very good and Walton's dominance of his penalty area along with his excellent shot stopping gives us better solidity. We don't keep possession particularly well and the signing of a striker who can hold the ball up would improve that area.
